Learning Pool is the e-learning exchange company for the public sector. Set up in 2002 by the IDeA (but independent since 2006), our unique service allows you to create, share and access e-learning content. We help you to get the benefits of e-learning without making a significant strategic or financial investment.

Today, over 330 local authorities in England and Wales use our core service for officers and our sister service for elected Members as a part of their training blend, helping to deploy cost effective and efficient training.

In addition to Modern Governor we also provide an e-learning service for council officers and Elected Members (called Modern Councillor). We also provide an online Learning Management System so that councils can evidence learning activity (all our courses are SCORM compliant).
